Hudson Community Education fall & winter classes

Hudson Community Education has completed a new selection of fall and winter classes, which are posted on the Community Education page found on the school district's website.

Classes for youth starting in October and November will include Karate for Kids, Little Stars & Big Stars Tennis, Acrylic Painting, Robotic Builders-Sports & Adventures, Pop Up Players and Mixed Media (Art) Project, Mindful Kids, Owl Cupcake Tree, Creating with Clay & Gift Making Workshop for Elves.

Classes for adults and families starting in October include Eating to Reduce Pain, The Best Bundt Cake Ever, Hypnosis for Weight Loss, Smoking or Chewing, Art/Visual Journaling, Financial Basics, Create Your Own Vintage Centerpiece, Resume Building, Goat Yoga, Wedding Dance Crash Course, Thriller Line Dance. and BYOP (Bring Your Own Piece) Furniture Worksop, Plan Your Perfect Move, and Adult Pottery.

Open Swim will be open on Oct. 6 and Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Middle School Pool. The cost is $3 per person, using cash, checks or punch cards.

Friday Open Gyms will be held at EP Rock Gym on Nov. 2, 9, and 16 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. The cost is $3 per person or family, using cash, checks or punch cards.

Punch cards can be purchased at the pool, gym or at the Community Education office at 644 Brakke Drive in Hudson, during the business day. Please check the website often for updates or changes to these dates.

Open Pickleball will start on Sunday, Nov. 4 at the Hudson Middle School Gym B from 2-5 p.m. Other dates include Nov. 11, 18, Dec. 2, 9 and 16. More dates will be held throughout the winter. Cost is $3 per person or family, using cash, checks or punch cards.
