Jean Ann Glasbrenner

Jean Ann Glasbrenner, 91, of River Falls died Friday, June 15, of complications from dementia at Our House Senior Living in River Falls.

She was born in River Falls, January 14, 1927, the daughter of Leslie and Maggie Hanson.

On September 1, 1956, in River Falls she was married to John Kemp Glasbrenner at the United Methodist Church.

She was a homemaker who was noted for her delicious homemade rolls, breads, donuts and cookies. Sewing, cooking, canning, baking and gardening were some of her many pleasures but her greatest pride were her grandchildren who adored her.

She was an active member of the United Methodist Church in River Falls for many years.

Survivors are three sons, Fred (Sue) Glasbrenner of River Falls, Wayne (Anne) Glasbrenner of Hudson, and Gary (Melissa) Glasbrenner of San Antonio, TX, a daughter Audrey Edmunds of Fridley, MN.; nine grandchildren, Tommy, Carrie, Allison, Jennifer, Shane, Sarah, Hayla, Justin and Allison; and one great-grandchild Asher.

Preceding her in death was her husband John, her parents, Leslie and Maggie Hanson, and two brothers C. Edward and John L.

A funeral service will be held Thursday June 21 at 4:00 p.m. at the River Falls United Methodist Church with visitation from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
