Hudson Library Notes: St. Croix County traveling book club
Beginning Oct. 18, we hope you can join us for a St. Croix County traveling book club. Each month a different St. Croix County library will host a book discussion at a local restaurant. All meetings will be held the third Thursday of the month with optional dinner beginning at 6 p.m., or just join us for the book discussion at 6:30 p.m. Please register at your local library and order a copy of the book to check out.

Oct. 18 at Phoenix Grill in Baldwin. "The Same Sky" by Amanda Eyre Ward.
Nov. 15 at Laurel Supper Club in Deer Park. "Rebecca" by Daphne du Maurier.
Jan. 18 at Phoenix Grill in Baldwin. "Bear Town" by Fredrik Backman.
Feb. 15 at Bass Lake Cheese Factory in Somerset. "Delicious" by Ruth Reichl.
March 15 at Postmark Grille in Hudson. "Prairie Fires: The American Dreams of Laura
Ingalls Wilder" by Caroline Fraser
April 18 at Barn Board in Roberts. "Yours" by Lisa Wingate.

American Girl Doll Club, Tuesday, Oct. 2, 6-7 p.m. Make no-sew clothes for your doll. Grades 3-6. Club meets five times throughout the year. Register at the youth services desk. Toddler Time, Tuesdays 10:15 a.m. Babies & Books, Wednesdays and Thursdays 10:15 a.m. Stories for All (0-5), Wednesdays 11:15 a.m. Forever Young Adult Book Club, Wednesday, Oct. 3, 7-8 p.m. We'll be reading "The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian" by Sherman Alexie.
