Hudson Library Notes: Tweens and teens in October

The library is a fantastic place for tweens and teens to meet friends, take a class or participate in a program. In October the library is hosting several events specially for them:

Teen Advisory Board T.A.B. Friday, Oct. 5, 4-5 p.m. New members welcome! Grades 6-12. No registration required.

Tween STEAM - Bristlebots. Tuesday, Oct. 9, 6-7 p.m. Make mini-robots out of toothbrush heads and test them in races. Register online or at the front desk.

Make Caramel Apples. Saturday, Oct. 20, 1-2 p.m. Make your own caramel apple at the library. For kids in grades 6-12. Register online or at the front desk.

Young Writer's Workshop. Monday, Oct. 22 6:30-7:30 p.m. Don't write alone! Grades 5-12. No registration required.

Fourth Friday Film - Solo: A Star Wars Story (PG-13). We'll provide the popcorn. Everyone welcome!

Halloween Jar Lanterns. Monday, Oct. 29, 6:30-7:30 p.m. Make your own Halloween-themed lantern. Check them out at: www.muminthemadhouse.com/simple-jar-lanterns-for-halloween/. For kids in grades 6-12. Register online or at the library front desk.

A Series of Unfortunate Events Book Club, Thursday Oct. 11, 6:30-7:30 p.m. We'll be reading "The Reptile Room" by Lemony Snicket. iLABS: Open during regular library hours.
